Starve Hollow SRA
Starve Hollow is the 'adventure buffet' - a little bit of everything. The lake has good swimming and fishing. The beach area makes it feel like vacation. But the real draw is the climbing tower - it's not huge, but it's perfect for introducing boys to rope skills, belaying, and overcoming fear of heights. We can teach climbing basics here, then take those skills to real rock later. The campground is small and intimate - good for newer troops still figuring out their rhythm. It won't blow anyone's mind with dramatic scenery, but it's a solid, fun weekend that lets boys try multiple activities without committing to any one thing. Sometimes variety is exactly what you need.
