About Red River Gorge

Red River Gorge is a canyon system on the Red River in east-central Kentucky. Known for its dramatic cliffs, natural arches, and dense forests, it's a bucket-list destination for backpackers. The area features over 100 natural sandstone arches and miles of challenging trails.

Who Can Attend

This trip is designed for Navigators (ages 11-13) and Adventurers (ages 14-17). Woodlands Trail boys (ages 5-10) are welcome when accompanied by their father or guardian who will hike and camp alongside them. This is a great opportunity for dads to share an adventure with their sons!
