Start your Trail Life adventure in Muncie
Joining Trail Life USA Troop 7777 is simple. Whether your son is 5 or 17, there's a place for him to grow, explore, and become a man of character. We welcome new members year-round and make it easy to get started with a trial visit before committing.

Step 1: Attend a Meeting (Free Trial)
Come visit us on any Sunday afternoon from 3:00-4:30 PM at Remedy City Church (we meet every other Sunday). Your son can participate in activities, meet the troop, and see what Trail Life is all about. No registration or payment required for the first visit—just show up!
Step 2: Complete Registration
If you and your son decide Trail Life is a good fit, complete the online registration at traillifeusa.com. You'll need to provide basic contact info, medical forms, and sign the membership agreement. Registration is handled at the national level and includes liability coverage.
Step 3: Pay Troop Dues
Our troop dues cover the cost of weekly meetings, local trips, uniforms, and advancement materials. See the 'Costs & Dues' section for details. Scholarships are available—no boy is turned away for financial reasons.
Step 4: Get Your Uniform
Once registered, you'll order your uniform shirt online through the Trail Life store. We'll provide a troop number patch at your first meeting. Uniforms help build unit identity and are worn for meetings and special events.

Can we start mid-year?
Absolutely! We welcome new members year-round. Your son will jump right into current activities and start working on advancement at his own pace.
Do parents need to stay during meetings?
For Woodlands Trail boys (ages 5-11), a parent or guardian must remain on-site during meetings. Frontier and Horizon boys (ages 12+) may be dropped off if you prefer.
What if my son has special needs?
We strive to accommodate all boys. Contact the troopmaster to discuss specific needs and how we can support your son's participation.
Is there a religious requirement?
Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered organization. Families must affirm the Statement of Faith, which centers on core Christian beliefs. Boys of all denominations are welcome.
