Troop 7777
Leadership Opportunities
Join us in building the next generation of godly young men.
Every role matters. Find where you fit.
Core Leadership Positions
This is where every great leader starts. Registered Adults make the troop safer, increase our capacity for adventures, and model engaged fatherhood. You're not "just a member"—you're the backbone of everything we do. Dad involvement is the #1 predictor of boy engagement.
Boys who advance regularly are 3x more likely to stay engaged and bring friends. When advancement stalls, boys lose motivation and drift away. You're not just handing out patches—you're fueling the entire culture of growth and keeping boys invested.
Every troop needs institutional memory. When leaders change, the secretary's records keep the troop from starting over. Good communication prevents confusion, missed events, and disengaged families. You're the glue that keeps everyone informed and connected.
Every great Trail Guide needs a wingman. TLMs make patrols safer, more effective, and allow for smaller boy-to-leader ratios. This is the perfect way to grow into frontline leadership—you learn by doing, with support. Plus, you double our capacity to mentor boys well.
Additional Opportunities
These supporting roles help our troop run smoothly and don't require the same time commitment as core positions.
Safety isn't optional—it's foundational. When parents know their sons are safe, they engage more freely. You create the conditions where adventure can happen without unnecessary risk.
Good communication keeps families informed and builds momentum. When people see what's happening, they want to be part of it. You help families stay connected and attract new members.
Good gear makes adventures possible. When equipment is organized and maintained, campouts run smoothly and families can focus on the experience instead of logistical headaches.
